Kimberley Jackson is the penname of Katharina Reese.
Katharina was born in Preetz, Germany. She started to write
when she was 14. At the age of 19 she started to work on her
fourth novel "Greek Summer". About three years later, in July
2004 she got an offer from a publisher who wanted to publish
"Greek Summer", together with romances written by other
authors. She was given a strict schedule to revise the book.
She had to refuse the offer because of the time conflict with
her personal schedule- exams at the university.
Alive was written in German about four years ago, but
translated and revised recently.
