Christmas in San Francisco
Photograph by Ana Cristina Garaventa
"Market street in San Francisco is always busy. The level of
frustration is high, and there's little time to stop and marvel
at its buildings and inhabitants. Stopping often means
getting honked at by busier people than you. The last few
days before Christmas intensifies the whole experience
As I was sitting in traffic listening to loud Christmas music on
the radio I was fascinated by the break lights in front
reminded me of christmas trees, with all the shine and
glittery. It amazes me how often people bypass beautiful
small things as they rush Rush RUSH to get to the big
things. I found all the colors beautiful. The person in the car
behind me did not have the same concept of beauty and I
can still hear the loud honk..." (Ana Cristina Garaventa)
