VLADIMIR FEDIN -
NEW COLLECTION OF OIL PAINTINGS
TO BE PRESENTED TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME

DECEMBER 26, 2009 - JANUARY 9, 2010
Opening Reception: Saturday, December 26, 2009, 7 pm

Gala Gallery is proud to present a new collection of oil paintings by a contemporary artist,
sculptor and poet, Vladimir Fedin, whose works are exhibited in different galleries around the
world, including USA, New Zealand, Russia, and Belarus.

Vladimir’s collection creates an atmosphere filled with light, poetry and intelligence. Fedin uses
natural forms in an unusual way that helps to express the controversy of the world and human
emotions. His artworks reflect a new concept of artist’s vision: realistic forms are combined with
abstract ideas.

Born in Minsk, Belarus, Vladimir Fedin found a love of art at the earliest of ages. His teacher
was a very talented and well-known European artist Lazar Ran whose artworks are kept by the
Dresden Gallery in Germany. The influence of Ran’s school shows up in Vladimir's paintings.
Since 1999 Vladimir Fedin lives and works in Cleveland.
